Absorption chilling is a mature technology used for cooling and refrigeration. Fluids using within the chilling cycle are typically Ammonia water for refrigeration or LiBr solutions for cooling / air conditioning.
Absorption chillers provide a very good technical match to the high outlet temperatures of a hot air turbine system allowing highly economic solutions to be developed using a renewable fuel, producing both electricity and cooling.
