We are delighted to announce the grant of our first patent filed jointly between Bluebox Energy and Ricardo Plc. It protects the technology we developed together: waste heat from pyrolysis driving a flue-gas CO₂ capture process, and waste heat used for feedstock drying.
The first example is being demonstrated using Woodtek’s C-1000 pyrolysis plant to drive our hot air turbine, which in turn drives Ricardo’s CO₂ capture process through a steam circuit at a site near Haywards Heath.
